Ormeau Quarry Expansion, Boral Resources Qld

The Ormeau Quarry expansion project required a survey which was in November 2013. Test pits and shovel probes found 115 stone artefacts including a charcoal sample located at the same depth as the stone artefacts.  Radiocarbon dating of the charcoal sample gave a date for site occupation of approximately 1670 C.E.
